hi there
Is anyone driving with hand controls? My sensorimotor neuropathy has progressed to the point that I am swapping over to hand controls. I started lessons last week and hope to have my car converted by christmas (awaiting funding). My license will be restricted so I can only drive with hand controls, which is annoying but probably sensible. I'm looking for a friendlier spinner option for the steering wheel - the traditional knob is too hard for my hands, so I am thinking about a foam covered pin. I will talk it over with my driver rehab OT. I have been trolling the internet looking for info - love any shared info or words of wisdom cheers raglet |
