To tgcasey:

You might have other nutrient deficiencies ... the B12 is only one nutrient that supports nerve functions.

Malabsorption may be occurring for you in the GI tract. Gluten intolerance and inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's contribute to malabsorption.

You may have taken medications in the past that damage nerves.
You may be exposed to some toxins, solvents.

You may have impaired glucose issues.

You may have genetic issue that is occurring with your low B12.
