I have 2 questions that may sound kind of dumb........but, I'm not proud.......here goes:
Can a person have only large fiber neuropathy without small fiber neuropathy? Is it likely that a person with small fiber neruopathy develops to large fiber neuropathy? |

I would also like to know the answer. I have large fiber neuropathy. I have only had a NCS done which only shows large fiber neuropathies. I know it takes a skin biopsy to confirm small fiber.

--it's certainly possible to have one without the other.
In a lot of autoimmune situations, the immune attack can be quite selective. |
