I think you are looking for right this moment relief, I am intolerant to heat while some are sensitive to cold. When I'm really bad I sit on the edge of the tub and run cold water over my feet, brings instant relief. I hate shoes and socks, yet my toes tingle without socks, so I can be found in chenille socks everyday of the year, I must have 50 pair now. I also have crocs in black with suede top and no holes in them, order from their web site. I own mary jane earth shoes, anything loose and boxy. I have booties that can be micro-waved or frozen, of course I wear mine frozen.
The nutrition experts will weigh in, weekends are slow around here. Mrs. D. is a living PN encyclopedia, follow her advise along with several others. It's all a learning curve here for what will work for you and what won't. Hang in there, I'm feeling for you!!!
