That seems a bit often due to the acetaminophen content of percocet, unless you only take one at a time. Did you mean every 6 hours? Recommended maximums of acetaminophen are no more than 4000 mg/day and no more than 1000 mg. in any 6 hr. period. (2600 mg/day for long term chronic use.)
People taking acetaminophen at or near those upper limits are also advised to have regular liver tests done, and take NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) to potentially avoid/reduce possible liver damage. Doc
