I think doctors are only going by what the manufacturers sales reps tell them...
![]() They don't consider investigating any long term effects from other sources or online...they just rx the latest & newest meds.. per reps anyway... ![]() Not saying all do this, but seems like many of them do.

The temp outside your door ....or mine? Cuz if its yours, we're much colder here today-it barely broke freezing. I know the time is hours off from my Eastern DST.

I am at 16 in the western great lakes....but the wind is very brisk and it feels a whole lot colder. I can't find the windchill anywhere online. I was in a small pocket that did not get hammered....we only got 12", but it does drift here badly due to the naked cornfields. East and west of us got 6 to 12" more.
Our ground hog was buried and never saw the sun or shadow..... ![]()

Actually counted all the days for each prediction? Well? Duh? 1-3 days difference [counting leap years].. I just kept asking myself why? Wha? Duh?
Dunno about others? Just would rather do a SUN DANCE! Truly a peculiar weather cycle we are now having? As for spring coming? Some key birds are migrating north, and passing thru here abouts... No geese or others like them yet tho...I'm expecting them next week, as their migrations are sunlight/sky driven... I may recant all this late tomorrow? As 'Freezing snow, Sleet, and Ice' are predicted? I really must find a hibernation 'cove'/space in my house for such situations? Could be worst tho? Four feet of snow or worse? For now? I'll take the 'cat' philosophy: Life is hard, then you nap! It's a good one for sure. Hugs and other nice things... - j BTW? I've been suggested to try taking 'Forteo'? But I'm waffleing about it, for justifiable reasons.... Not sure that for ME? IT would be optimal, not to mention the 'administration' of it! That part gives me willies for cause! - j |

J
After doing research and having one of my recurrent autonomic storms I have decided to nix any bisphosphonates. I had such a bad autonomic issue on Friday that my ribs are sore from upchucking. My little guy was in his play pen, waiting for grandpa to get home to take care of him so grandma could go to bed...he was watching grandma wretch, and apparently decided my behavior was some urgent form of communication he needed to master quickly. In the middle of one of my wretching episodes, here is the baby, 1 year old, mimicking my stance, doing my exact 'yak'. He did 3 good 'yaks', bent over at the waist, and smiled at me, as if to inquire, "Did I get it down grandma? I can do this too!!". Now if he only learned to say 'Up'. I fear I traumatized him....but really, I had no option of when to toss my cookies. I admit, admist the suffering, he made me smile. I just don't think I am in any condition to take a drug that could cause me any further problems. J I have read some nasty accounts of some of the IV bisphonate administration too....I just don't know...not for me at this time...maybe at a later time... ![]()
