I'm sure Bob can agree with me on the "cocktail" aspect of this disorder. I just thank my lucky stars that my peripheral neuropathy has never progressed beyond my toes. That's not to say that it isn't a painful and sometimes very frustrating disorder. I continue to have problems with shoes that touch the tips of my toes. Waking up with pain, when the evening meds have worn off.
But, my cocktail of Lyrica and Tramadol has been a life saver! Together, there are times, when I actually have almost complete relief. It is those times, however, that I have those same old feelings of...."hey, just maybe it isn't....but...it IS! I want to thank the people that were there for me when I was clueless as to what I was dealing with and how I would go about treating my PN. I want to thank Bob in particular. The cocktail works Bob!!! ![]() |
