Thank you all for replies. I have been on gabapentin for about one year. I didn't do anything different that day as I recall. I feel better today as well as yesterday. The weather was cold and rainy Sat and Sun. I never thought of weather as having any effect on pain so perhaps it was a coincidence.
You are right about when to call a doctor or not. I don't want to seem like a hypochondriac. The pain was a brief pain. I think what happened it was one of those electric shock types of pains. I had more of them when I was on a lower dose of gaba. Now I am on higher dose the shocks have mostly gone away. So probably this was a fluke type of pain. I have been to a lot of doctors and I think autoimmune type of disorders have been ruled out. I had a ANA blood test among others. |
