Default IT's TIME FOR TEMPERATURE WARS!

Among families, and co-inhabitants! For us w/PN? At times it's better to live by yourself? Unless you need the help of your spouse of others!
We are worse than Sleeping Beauty temp wise? Too hot? NOT! Too cold? BLUE! Literally!
Wars with the thermostat begin with the first frosts? Till the first heat wave..in my case? That is NOW!
Anyone else want to vent on this issue? I feel soo much better just getting IT out! Brings my blood pressure down even.. Good!
Hugs and smiles to all! 's! - j

I live alone and I do get lonely but overall I can't imagine living with someone. I get annoyed so easily now that even normal behaviors by someone would irritate me.
I can really relate to the temp issues. I really hate when one part of my body is sweating and the other is freezing. Living in FL too it is so hot and humid outside and then you go indoors and it is like Alaska it is freezing.
My friend with temp issues who has a husband got an air unit put in a spare bedroom that helps her control the temp better. You can get those covers for the vents too or air directors I have used cause air blowing on me hurts.
Ok sorry for my vent on this subject. Stay warm or cool!

I know how you feel. I live in Bangkok and there is never a "good' temp.
Outside its like walking into the amazon jungle at midday and inside especially when I sleep the room is like a freezer, the low temp acts like a full body ice pack.
My G/F is the only person wrapped in a blanket watching TV in thailand

I truly understand the need to be single. I hate being a burden on anyone especially on the weekend when I get the chirpy "hi honey lets go shopping and see a movie' ughhhh.. still it is a distraction and drags me off the coach

I so prefer warm. I may feel differently when it gets really hot, although yesterday it was close to 90 and humid, no complains from me. I will get my A/C in soon though, so if I do feel like complaining, I can turn it on and cool off. The cold temps are much harder on me.

I can't handle extremes at all. We keep our home cool in winter and moderate in summer. I have only one portable A/C in the bedroom and we keep that at 74.

I always assumed my issues are thyroid related. Hubby seems less affected by extremes and he doesn't have thyroid issues.

I don't like really cold A/C either.

Zorro I don't think you are a burden on your significant other. I know it is hard for our loved ones to deal with out condition but you can still have nice times with laughs. I think how isolated I am is not healthy but that is where I am at right now.

Mrs D I also don't like extremes. Summer which has started here in FL is brutal for me. The air conditioning hurts me at times from the air circulation. That being said cold and snow is very brutal on me. I go frozen and the pain goes way up. Ugh I need to live in a bubble.

Default I definitely AM in good company!

Today at a doc appt, found it awfully warm and stuffy...so I asked. It appears their power was out over the weekend and some cooling systems hadn't gotten working yet? I was comfortable? But It was 95-100 degrees outside at that time of day.
Don't know about others? By when you don't sweat as you 'used to'? It's hard to measure when you are too hot or cold. Then if you are getting dehydrated to boot.
Now? Is it Goldilocks or the Princess and the Pea? Meaning 'bundle 'n huddle' or 'turn the fan on full blast!'
For the duration of the summer? I'm going nowhere without a spare bottle of gatorade! Just in case.
Hugs and perfect weather to one and all! - j 's!!!!!!!!!!

I was never a fan of cold weather, but now it doesn't seem to bother me as much as it used to. Conversely, I used to love hot weather, but now it bothers me. I don't know if this change has anything to do with PN or not.

But I still don't like AC blowing directly on me and think most places really crank it up too high.

Hello,
I really enjoy the heat of summer cause all I do is set in a wheelchair in the shade, I keep the house at 77 degrees year round. Hope everyone has a comfortable summer. I do enjoy the Hummers buzzing around the yard

The doctor's office I dread and hospitals too. They keep it so cold.
At home in the summer when you have the air on and if you don't like it blowing on you at Home Depot they have air deflectors. They are very cheap and the air blows up rather then out onto a person. It helps
