It has come that time of year when I am begining to look rediculous with sandals and my business suit( it is gales and rain outside and I am panicing about forcing my feet into shoes and tights). Can anyone suggest anything to wear with shoes that will not make my feet overheat more. Nylons are a killer!!!

I can wear thin cotton socks or the ultra soft diabetic socks sometimes if I have to. But I hate any socks and avoid them like the plague generally.
Dressing for "work"...that poses a problem. Check out some foot catalogs online like FootSmart, etc, and see what they have. My feet don't sweat anymore. So I can wear my athletic shoes without socks most times. (I just replace the liner when it gets grungy). Arcopedico shoes look nice and no one would notice you don't have stockings on etc. The first shoe on this page in black.... has worked for me as a comfortable dress shoe... many places sell them for less than this website too. http://www.arcopedicoshoes.com/classic/index.html I am actually thinking about this style for myself: http://www.zappos.com/arcopedico-es-...productReviews The elastic and woven upper may really not hit my surgical scar and instep where I have tremendous issues and pain from most shoes. Free shipping and free return shipping...I like that. Most shoes fit my right foot okay even with the high instep, but my left foot is becoming impossible these days! sigh!

Hi, I don't know if it would be appropriate where you work but I am with Mrs. D. I don't wear socks anymore, even with my dress shoes. I just can't wear them. They make mine pain even worse. Besides it seems to be the style now! hopeful

Can you wear dressy pants to work? Then some kind of comfy shoe, without socks or nylons?
