Good luck with your appointment with the Neurologist. I hope you can see an NS or OS for further diagnosis and treatment. All I can say for now is that you are probably experiencing a lot of radiculopathy not just PN. It is all neuropathic pain but two different and distinct disease processes. If the discs are bulging and encroaching on your spinal cord, pain can be referred EVERYWHERE...trust me on that one! Just think of the neck as the fusebox. When something goes wrong there; everything goes haywire. I have cervical stenosis as well and have had two fusions. That's not to say you would HAVE to have fusions. But really, see a Neurosurgeon about this and ask your Neurologist for a referral. I wish you well.
