Hi Everyone, I printed out the Laboratory Diagnosis sheet from one of the stickies. I have a neuro appt. tomorrow. I am going through the sheet and checking off what I have had tested and I did not. I see on the sheet that they should test for the Parvovirus antibody. Can Parvovirus cause neuropathy? I tested positive for the antibodies a few year before the neuropathy started. All I remember is being sick and my doctor saying you must have had the parvovirus at one time because you come up positive for it. I work in a school and at that time I vaguely remember having a student that had the virus.
I am also giong to ask for a fasting insulin level and another A1C just in case. Is there anything that any of you can think of that are not in the standard testing that they may have missed? I would like to go in with some suggestions for testing. My neuro is great and I don't think he would mind any suggestions. Please anyone feel free to tell me you thoughts on the Parvovirus and any other testing. Thanks hopeful ![]() |
