anyone know the effect of Acupuncture on nerve regeneration??
my acupuncturist says it will cut the time of nerve regeneration about in half...but i'm wondering if anyone else has tried it!! ![]() |

I have not heard this. What I was told and this may or may not be correct but that acupuncture helps you overall body in terms of relaxing,better sleep,better digestion etc. Like it gets the body in balance. Those things in turn will help your pain not so much that it cures the condition or repairs. Now who knows what is right or wrong. Overall if anything feels better I would consider a wonderful thing.

Not as much pain but it it has an effect on time for nerves to regenerate!!?

The author of The God Complex compiled a list of peer reviewed studies that demonstrated a positive effect from acupuncture. You may find something in there. ** BTW - Great book if you've not read it. It was being given away for free over Xmas. It might still be free.
