Sorry, I don't know the meaning of "die off" in this context.

My wife (Fibro) and I (PN) have been taking NAC for many years now. We can't say it's helping either of our conditions directly/noticeably, but it is a powerful antioxidant, and may be helping behind the scenes (so to speak). It certainly couldn't hurt.

I recommend it to anyone who takes acetaminophen or acetaminophen-containing medications (percocet, vicodin, etc.) on a regular basis to protect the liver from the damaging effects.

It is good, just one of my many supplements. I take it daily. I have had huge improvement with all of them. Mainly Befotiamine and also Alpha Lipoic Acid. Cutting sugar and carbs WAY down has also done an amazing job. I have normal blood glucose at all times, but sugar can be bad for nerves. I miss it but at long as I am healing my nerves, I am happy.
