I don't think I have used a steriod. Nice to know.

I take a tiny amount of Cortisol, is that the same? Are you talking about larger doses of prednisone or exactly what meds. I just don't know anything about them and I would like to know in case I ever have to use one.

If you suddenly stopped your small dose, you might notice something.

Steroids in any dose are potent and affect many areas of the body.

The physiological hydrocortisone therapies however, may not do the same thing as prednisone therapies. The hydrocortisone therapies tend to correct adrenal functions to some extent.
But stopping them suddenly will shift things back to what they were before.

It is very difficult to predict exactly "what"....but do expect some
adjustments.

Long term use of steroids may deplete nutrients.

The center column is confusing in this link, but all the steroids below sulfasalazine deplete the whole center list of nutrients.
