Marshaybear--
I'm in the west as well and had the same problem of lack of diagnosis till quite recently. I would recommend you check out the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix (affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital). It is a well-known neurological specialty center, that has been around for 50 years. My neurologist there has been very thorough and analytical in his approach, not dismissive (like some of the others I went to earlier who kept telling me all was normal...).

Good luck.
