I've been watching this thread - as I do some that I dont actualy post on because I feel so many of you are quite eloquent and more qualified in your areas of "expertise" then me regarding this condition and you almost always pick up the ball and run with it and make your individual special contributions.....

We definatey have an incredible group here of individuals here with often very different perspectieves on how this disease is to be dealt with - and I beleive that no matter how each of us approaches the issue - we all want the same outcome for each other - to deal with PN as part of our lives in the matter most appropirate for each, to take action medically when necessary, to be our own advocates, and most importantly - to continually strive to attain the best quality of life we can while doing it. Also, most of us have the adantage of "knowing" each other over the years from the boards, and have come to know what to expect from each - rather like a large rather dysfunctional family!

I appreciate all your contributions....each in their own way.... perhaps it's overwhelming for a newcomer - treading lightly into a group - to be offered so much information.... we can only hope that it does have a positive impact... and also, there are those out there who are "lurkers" - who dont join- but I'm willing to bet learn much from watching what is being said.... (ever look at the nunber of members vieweing the thread vs total viewers at a given time?) As a long time member - I believe I gain strength from this group that may not be apparent to others - but motivates me to keep trying and not give up (David - you said to me once several years ago, "this could be it...." and I've never forgotten that.... and start each day with that attitutude....)

Hopefully we help our newcomers and the cascade of knowledge may take a while to absorb - but remember we're helping each other every day too - this should be and is a safe place to come when we have to deal with issues the average man cannot not even imagine....

I think all your contriubutions reach much further then your realize.
