That is really quite high. Sometimes I do take two 1MG. I had bloodwork done and I am within the normal for B-12. I would assume you had bloodwork done as well to need high dose or shots. The MethylCobalamin requires less than the usual B-12. So far, most pharmacies do not carry the Methyl B-12; but order on line with free shipping with orders of $20 to $40. I also use Source Naturals MethyCobalamin B-12 sublingual cherry flavor. These are best used under the tongue and will absorb better that moving around in the mouth.
