Just been to dr - he thinks I've got labrinthitis again - I've had it a couple of times over the last few years. Once again - on examination I appear to be perfectly normal, in fact I feel almost normal - until I stand up and attempt to walk anywhere - then I just feel drunk.
Is there any link between this and the PN symptoms? I asked the dr but he wasn't sure. This is the third dr I've seen and all they seem to do is shrug their shoulders and say that the neuro will be able to answer all my questions!! Very frustrating - lovely sunny weather - I just wish I felt up to sitting outside ! |

i used to get exactly the same thing last year. My dizziness use to go on for a few weeks at at time. It was actually more like floating. Had MRI and everything was normal. My Neurologist said l had migraines.
But l do think for me, it has more something to do with PN. Last year l had 3 dizziness attacks, and its now been a year and l haven't had it since then, so l am so very happy. It just went away, but there are still days where l kind of feel like l have an out of body experience, l just try to stay relaxed and take good care of myself. My doctor also originally thought it was vestibular then l thought l had meniers disease, but actually l think l may have something else altogether. You just have to keep researching like you and you will find more and more answers. Sue ![]() |
