Default Cathie, you haven't MISSED THEM!

It's scheduled to happen [the banding that is] at 3pm this afternoon.
Just took a peek and they were sleeping and sure look like they're moulting into their first set of grown-up feathers!

Mrs D, that you ever so much for sharing this site - it helps me keep in touch with the WORLD in a very special way! - j

Question Did anyone see them

actually band the chicks? The time was changed from morning to 3pm, but the webcam did not seem to be working (it is now).

Grin In answer to my own question

Yes, the chicks were banded two days ago and pronounced healthy. Yesterday I saw both the mommy and the daddy Eagle in the nest. What a picture! My granddaughters are quite enthralled with this site.

This morning, there is a notice that some Falcom chicks have hatched. You can click on a link from the Bald Eagle cam to view but can't see much with the way the mommy bird is sitting on them.

Default Hey David

What about Macs and OSX? Or am I destined to look at black squares hoping a baby will pop out in front of me?

Lightbulb Cathie...

I could not get some of David's links to work either.

The eagle cam we are watching now does go black at night.
Right now they eaglets are sleeping yawning and futzing with the twigs in
the nest.

They will be down from Apr 23 to 25 to fix the network.

Default Thank you MrsD

I hope to be able to see this when the site comes back up. Tonight, I was finally able to sign on without having to go through the copy and paste routine. I thought perhaps it might possibly have something to do with that.

Hopefully, I will be able to see that. Thanks so much for posting the link.
