That was a very interesting interview--my husband also had a lot of shoulder and muscle pain like the doctor. We both stopped taking them after our daughter-in-law read an article in the Peoples Pharmacy column of the local paper about statins and all the damage they cause. We both knew there was something wrong but the symptoms don't begin until you've been on the drug for quite a while--long enough that you don't tie your symptoms to the statins.
