Default Idiopathic Autonomic Neuropathy

I am 41,and have been diagnosed with idiopathic autonomic
Neuropathy. They have tried every medicine
- florinef, stomach meds, ssri's, pyridostigmine, etc.. They either don't work or I can not tolerate them.
They have no idea what to try now, since I have tried all the medications. My main symptoms are Orthostatic
Intolerance, pots, GI, heat intolerance, migraines, and they come and go.
I was at mayo they could not find a cause.
Has anyone found anything that has helped relieve the symptoms...or found anyone who has discovered the cause?
Maybe alternative
Medicine- anything?

Thanks!

I suggest you come here to the boards, and read, read, read. My doctor told me it's called "Idiopathic" because the "Idiot" doctors don't know what causes it and how to fix it.

This forum has helped me to realize what I was deficient in as far as vitamins and supplements that may help PN. You have come to the right place.....good luck!

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

We need to know more about you, your history. Exactly what you eat, do for a living, hobbies, exposure to drugs RX and OTC and vaccines. EVERYTHING. Were you ill right before? Trauma, surgeries, things like that.

Have you been tested for B12 and Vit D? That is one place to start. If you have, please get your numbers, and don't accept
"normal" from your doctor as the lab ranges are old and out of date and lows continue to be not flagged.
