Default PN Neurologists in Naples, FL area?

Hi All,
i have non diabetic unexplained PN in both arms and feet and have recently relocated to Naples, FL. Can anyone recommend doctors in this area they have had experience with who specialize or at least have familiarity with pn? Search phone books and the internet down here has yielded no results so I'm hoping someone on this forum lives nearby Naples and has a great recommendation for me.
Thanks,
Doc

If you want to do some driving, check out Moffitt and USF in Tampa.

Default Thanks

Barb thanks for the two replies, I'm hoping for something closer that the 2+ hour rides each way those would entail, especially with the number of visits that may be required. There are plenty of neurologists in Naples but no one seems to know of any that specialize in or have an interest in PN.
I can't believe i'm the only guy in SW Florida with this problem, somebody has to know a good neurologist down here?
I sure need one!
Thanks again for your replies.

You can look into this doctor:
He has a very good reputation for using healing therapies for
neurological problems.

But I cannot personally endorse him, because I don't have
personal experience with him or know if he is good with PN even:

He is in your area, however.

I went to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and they focused more on the edema in my legs than anything. I've got the same thing you have, except it's only in the feet. I go to a guy in Boca Raton, who was highly recommended, the guy is busier than you can imagine, and he's a good listener, but all he did was prescribe a thousand capsules of Neurontin. He said he didn't believe in 'dope' to treat neuropathy. I just laughed, took the prescription, and went to the pain doctor to get my 'dope' so that I wouldn't 'kill myself'. None of these guys has an answer. They've recommended B vitamins because they thought it was a vitamin deficiency, but it hasn't even made a dent in the pain. I'm going in for an experimental treatment on Monday that's helped out a lot of different types of pain, and the doctor has worked with neuropathy before. Look up - Dr. Jacobson and Magnetic Resonance Therapy. He's in Jupiter, FL. It's in another thread here. I'll let everyone know how it progresses.
