Hi Ginnie If you are eating salads try to add some seeds too. I actually make smoothies everyday and add them to that. The gluten free isn't bad. You can find a lot of things now in most markets. Like I said I mostly eat fruits, veggies and fish. All of that is gluten free!
This whole thing is a learning experience for me. It nice to have people to turn to that are going through the same thing!

NOW has an affordable one. Do the CoQ-10 for about a month, then add in the acetyl Carnitine, 500mg a day for a week increasing to 2 grams a day over a month. When you get to the higher doses, don't take all at once, but several times a day, as there is a limit the intestine will allow to pass.

The evil drug= Lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor. for blood pressure.
Hi Mrs. D,
I have a quick question. I brought Qunol Mega Coq10 Ubiquinol at Costco today. Is that the right one? Do I need to take it with food? Also, I just read something that said not to take this if you have thyroid disease. Is that true?
Thanks,
Kim

The only thing I have read is that people with hyperthyroidism, may become depleted of CoQ-10 because the hyper state
uses it up more quickly than it can be made.

I am hypo, and stable on my levothyroxine, and I never see
any negative effects from the Qunol I use.

I would not expect much of an interaction with it. But just be watchful for the first 2 weeks or so.

I have hypo also and I'm fine on my synthryroid. I will keep a watchful eye. Thanks!
