Sometimes an MRI does not show the true picture. In my case, my neuropathy is autoimmune related, and only a blood test would determine this. If you find that you're getting nowhere with the neurologist (like I did) then I suggest finding a rheumatologist instead. They're really great at playing detective and getting to the bottom of things!

Is anyone able to suggest recommended consultant neurologists and/or rheumotologists in the London / Hertfordshire or Cambridgeshire area?

Thanks, T

I can't help you there but try your GP. That is were a lot of my referral came from and it is nice because since they know one another they can correspond about my case.

Well to the group and good luck!
