Thank you for your quick response, Mrs D.

It's hard for me to know whether I'm unable to process cyano, or whether things are just adjusting. I wake up after being asleep at night for an hour or two and feel very dizzy and sick, delusional and like I'm going to die. I thought that if the B12 was helping me then I would feel better. I have a gut feeling that I'm not processing cyano very well, even though it made my pins and needles go away.

Question

Have you had your heart checked?

Some A-fib attacks can cause distressing symptoms.

I had an ECG in January of this year and it turned out completely fine because I was having palpitations, but for the most part they have seem to have gone away.

The anxiety and panic attacks have only started since taking the cyano B12, and my first episode was 3 days after I started taking it. It seems to be worse during hot weather too.

Question

The treatments for pyroluria involve high B6 (activated B6 called P5P) and zinc.

You could take a lower dose, and see if there are improvements.
One P5P a day and one OptiZinc. Anything higher should be followed by a doctor. If you have blood work done the test to reveal this is called copper/zinc ratio.

These are the choices for P5P:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...d-keywords=P5P

Choose one that states enteric coated.
Solgar:
http://www.amazon.com/Solgar-P-5-P-P...2&keywords=P5P
or
http://www.amazon.com/Vegetarian-P-5...6&keywords=P5P

One a day.

Look at what you take at night before bed. Do you use
some RX drugs then? Blood pressure pills? Is the anxiety worse when you lie on your back? (mitral valve prolapse gives symptoms when you lie on your back).

cyanocobalamin...Isn't that the B12 that has cyanide in it??? I thought that was the worse kind to take???

That is what I always thought. I refused cyanocobalamin shots due to the cyanide.

Thanks for your input Stacey and MrsD.

I think I've found that I don't process cyanocobalin very well - I've been a lot less anxious since I stopped taking it. I just hope the once a week jabs of hydrocobalin will be enough to stop the tingling returning. I'm going to try methylcobalin sublingual tablets and hopefully they will work better.

I took B12 shots when I was VERY LOW. Now, I take Methyl. sublingual B12 every other day or so. I don't use the cyno. kind.
