Default 6 step cure to Peripheral Neuropathy

As I endlessly search the web for cures and help for my PN, I keep coming across Dr. Randall C. Labrum's 6 step cure for PN. I did many searches for real world reviews but haven't found much.

Has anyone here looked into his 6 step program? If so, thoughts?

He keeps everything a secret unless you buy his book/CD.....

Enough said.

I completely agree with you. But on those late nights when your feet are burning and you can't sleep, paying for his six steps seems like it might be worth a try. My guess is that I would be totally disappointed. That's why I was hoping that someone else gave it a try and actually reported back to a place like this.

Burning feet....???

1) try the epsom salt soak before bed.

2) look at Biofreeze gel (or other form), to take the burning out
temporarily...at least to sleep. Amazon has it now affordably...at one time only chiros or PT had it, for more money. It has generalized down to other suppliers now. It is really really good for burning. And I've tried many things.

3) if your burning gets red, and is mostly in the toe area, try a 7 day Lamisil treatment for fungus. Many fungus infections remain below the skin level in the deeper skin layers, and will activate the burning even when you can't see any lesions or flaking of Athlete's foot. It is worth a try to do a treatment over the whole area (you don't need to gob it on), every night.
Put the cream over the tops of the toes, inbetween and underneath, and some on the instep a bit.

4) some foods will cause more burning in some people:
MSG food additive

nightshade veggies --potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, paprika, eggplant, will do it and sometimes with a delayed reaction.

Histamine releasing foods... fermented, beer, wine, pickles, etc
http://www.michiganallergy.com/food_and_histamine.shtml

5) if your feet are cold alot, they will burn when they warm up.
That is the blood returning to the cold feet stimulating the heat receptors.

These are all things I've researched over the years for night-time burning of feet. Somewhere in there is your trigger perhaps?

I didn't buy his book. However I did buy his Ultima Neuro stimulator device with socks and tubes and it also comes with a seminar transcript that eludes to the 6 steps. I didn't bring it with me today, but if I remember correctly the steps are: use the device twice for at 15 minutes a day, elevate you legs for 15 minutes/day, take his vitamins once a day, wear compression leggins while you sleep and of course buy his book.

I've been using the electroshock therapy device now for five days and it's been a big help for me. I use it in the morning and then again before I go to bed and I sleep much better and the pain during the day has dropped too. I've been propping my legs up on my desk for while now cause it feel good to do that so I was already doing that. I haven't bought his vitamins or book and don't plan too. The therapy is going well for me. I might try the leggins, but haven't decided just yet. Feel free to email me if you like. Have a nice day!

Applying (gently) Arnica oil to the skin of the areas that are burning sometimes helps me, sometimes it doesn't. Not sure why it works one time and not another. Anyway, it was difficult for me to find and BEWARE - it is a poison. DO NOT use even one drop if you just one open wound. Apparently, if this stuff gets into your bloodstream, you will get sick. Just a thought.

How much does his electroshock device cost? Has anyone else tried it?

I bought the device, socks and cuffs for $185. The price seems to be pretty good. I found other sites where it was 2 and 3 time that.
