It should only be described when there is a diagnosis of ulcers. The good thing is that doctors finally understand that ulcers are a bacterial problem (took a good 20 years that one), but it seems the bad thing is that they are now giving antibiotics "just in case"?
So to be clear: the antibiotics do make sense if she has peptic ulcers. If not, there are better alternatives. But, as Mrs.D said, all antacids cause a reduction of B12 absorption, so adding that is a good idea anyway. The Jarrows B12 packaging looks new to me too FWIW. |
