I have got no idea how the health system works in the United States, but in OZ when in need of treatment in a emergency, which it is in your case with the very high pain levels, people are taken to Casualty, i think yours is called ER, the most urgent cases are of course are seen to first, but i would think seriously about heading to a big teaching hospital [ during the week, no good on week ends] but there should be specialists crawling all over the place, that one of the hospitals gp's could call upon for opinions, you may get the ball rolling at least , and i would take in any prior tests and reports.
just a thought that may help,
Brian

Default Hi Electrocuted...

I am sending you a private message. Look beneath the "Welcome, Electrocuted" when you sign on and it will read "Unread 1," unless someone else sends you one.

Try these two at Hopkins. Maybe they can steer you in the right direction.
This one's my doc & the head of the dept
(but he's not always available, sometimes away on sabbaticals)

or try this one:

He's been there quite a while, and knows a lot about PN and neuropathic onset.

Default Johns Hopkins

Wish I were close to that area. I have heard really good things about their neuro department. Isn't that where Glenn goes too? I cannot keep all of us straight.

I just keep hoping that something will come around for Electrocuted and that he will get some kind of help. It is so frustrating to want to help people and not be able to do anything.
