Hi Elaine,
I spoze it depends—to a large part—on severity & progression of symptoms, and personality. For some, PN is little more than a major nuisance; for others, it consumes every aspect of life and becomes incapacitating—and any/everywhere in-between. One short answer might be, Do what you gotta do and don't sweat the small stuff—one day at a time. Doc
