Here is one article on this topic:

Radiation damages DNA... so using the DNA (mitochondrial) support nutrients may help damage after the fact.
CoQ-10
acetyl carnitine
R-lipoic acid
Omega-3 fatty acids and perhaps coconut oil

MrsD,
Thank you for your reply. I will tell my friend about your reply.

If you remember, i Mentioned her condition here a while back. After several months of undergoing holistic treatment, her cancer improved. But for financial reasons (as holistic treatment is not covered by insurance), she stopped her treatment after she improved. After 7 months, her cancer went back. She had radiation treatment in her right breast...after the completion of the the sessions, she has experienced 2x a complete numbness of her whole right arm (from shoulder down to the fingers).

Again, thank you for your help.

Mary

I know of breast cancer patients who prevented spread and did well with treatments by using flax oil mixed in cottage cheese..(which provides sulfur).

The combination of alpha linolenic acid (and essential omega -3 ) plus sulfur seems to work for some reason.

I met ~Pansy~ on our old venue many years ago... here are some of her posts:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread41361.html

If you Google "flaxseed oil breast cancer" you'll find other sites like this one:
http://www.cancer.org/treatment/trea...erals/flaxseed

Use of the oil ( a high quality one like Barleans is best I think).

Does it depend on the type of breast cancer or did it just work for the gal you refer to? Just curious. The article mentions studies in mice and rats and small studies in humans. One should read the whole article.

I never got into the details with the patients I saw in my job...

Pansy's posts reflect the spread after initial treatments and this metastasis was reversed by her use of flax oil and cottage cheese.

Most people in this country are quite low in alpha linolenic acid.
The ADHD studies, which measured the blood of kids showed a ratio of 1:20+ omega 3 to 6... When the desired ratio is 1:5.

When I searched this over a decade ago and found this health problem, was so common, we started fixing Omega-3s in our home. That is the basic reason and success that I am online still today. (my son who had severe ADHD was able to give up his Ritalin and clonodine as a result of the dietary shift).

By doing the flax oil + sulfurated protein all one is doing is fixing their Omega-3 to 6 ratio. It also helps to lower Omega-6 consumption somewhat as that is very high in processed foods.
Omega-6's (linoleic acid)are inflammatory in high amounts in the diet.
