Hi there
I have PN from chemo (carbotaxol) and have been on Intragam infusions since April 2013. I stopped work as feet and hands were painful, feet dropped and eventually my balance went off. I just want to alert readers and posters to DNS - Deep Neuro-muscular Stabilisation. This is a non invasive, non-chemical - low impact therapy for sufferers of neurological conditions. I have a physio-therapist and a chiropractor work on me simultaneously for about 40mins-1 hour. Since starting therapy in September I have seen improvements in my balance, loss of pain in my back, neck and shoulders; and contained footdrop. Here is a link FYI but please also check it out on Google http://www.nydnrehab.com. I hope it helps anyone who is suffering pain. |
