It is always amazing to hear of a husband/wife quilting team! In my part of the world there are a few of them.
I know of a couple who do the opposite-she designs/constructs and he does the hand-quilting. Works very well for them and they produce some beautiful quilts. CeCe.

My neighbor gave me a jar of stuff she got at Lowe's for working man's hands. It's in a frog green round container. It's very thick and you don't have to use much but if I use it everyday my feet look wonderful....no cracks and such. I too have to use cold on my feet but cannot feel the creams with the 'hot' stuff in them so they do me no good for pain relief......my daughter in law bought me a 'chillow' that you see advertised on TV and I keep it in the fridge and get it out when needed and wrap one foot at a time in it.....great relief for me.

Fascinating, all the quilters on here! I have been quilting since my daughter was a baby, 30 years now. I used to sell double wedding ring quilts through an Amish store in Dover. Wish I had them back now. I thought my quilting days were over but I set the frame up last year and have been able to do it, although it has taken me a year to finish this Christmas bed quilt for my husband. I am determined to make as many as I can for the kids before I lose it for good. So far crocheting is the only thing I have had to give up, but everything else goes much more slowly as I fumble a lot.

It sure helps me forget the aches and pains, even though it makes me a little sore if I stay at the frame or sewing machine too long.

Ask your pharmacist. I use several creams for dry feet. One is Cetaphil, Sarna, any heavy emollient should help with dry skin.

You folks do know that in addition to the Creative Corner forum, there's also a Knit one Purl two, Crochet a loop through social group "For those of us who are knitting, Crocheting, quilting or doing other things with textiles to share our creations, frustrations, and deliberations!" here... right? Hmmm?

Thanks for all the suggestion! My aunt came over and brought be a tube of Flexitol from walmart, it has urea in it. I used it twice and wow!!! Amazing job. Not using it everyday only as needed.

EVERY winter the ends of my fingers would dry out and develop painful cracks. This amazing product has cured this issue for me.
