Sorry folks, I tried. It would have gone through the first time, but I realized I needed 3 options, not 2. Unfortunately the poll function is EXTREMELY picky, so when I tried to change the number to 3, it balked. I have seen this kind of thing before. And then the whole Poll function goes haywire, perhaps only on my system.

In any event, I am now unable to make any kind of poll. I suspect I won't be able access that function again for about 18-24 hours, as that's what happened last time. However, it may very well be that someone else can get it started. Oh- I have asked to have the dead-end polls removed and hopefully that will be done.

I was going to create one poll, with a question like this: Are you in favor of the PN forum getting Billye a notebook computer at this time?

I was going to have 3 choices: 1. Yes, although I am not willing to contribute
2. Yes, and I am willing to contribute towards the purchase 3. No

Curious: thanks so much. I have had this exact same problem before. I understand why I have the initial problem, but don't have a clue about the rest. Troubleshooting last time turned up nothing.

Thanks for starting the poll. I am sure I will be able to start one again in a bit - so it's not really worth bothering about at this point.
