Default PN in foot with bunion surgery

Hello! I developed peripheral neuropathy in both my feet due to an injury on the bottom of the feet. Now I need to have bunion surgery on one foot. I'm concerned about the nerves in that foot during surgery plus the snug bandage on my foot during recovery. Has anyone had this situation before or know anything about this? I'm planning on contacting my neurologist since my orthopedic surgeon has never run into this before.
