I think it is okay to leave this question. Many people come in from Google searches, so will see this thread, and then use the link you provided. So I think leaving it would help that process.
But Lewie, if you still want to delete the thread now, please make a formal request and I can do that for you. It is your decision.

I did a little bit of looking into this. The only soluble supplements that are suppose to increase glutiathione are the lypo-spheric GSH and another one named Immunocal. They are both higher cost but still cheaper than the shots. I also saw they make liposomal forms of vitamin c and R ALA. I may give them a try as well.
Some good info here that talks about boosting glutiathione with foods, shots, supplements but they are trying to sell the Immunocal so some of the information could be biased.

Hi Lewie,
I'm not sure if it's due to boosting glutathione, but I take RLA and NAC, and they've helped my PN tremendously (as has pantothenic acid (B5) with the RLA). About a year after onset of symptoms (numbness and "folded sock"), the burning pain, needle jabs, and "electric" shocks began. Since taking RLA the burning has stopped completely, and adding B5 significantly reduced the other two. I still have pain from PN, but more of the "nuisance" variety (cramping & aching). Doc

Been taking the lyposomal glutathione for a week now. It has greatly reduced the inflammation in my stomach and my whole body. I no longer have a whooshing sound in my left ear and my stomach is so much better I can eat and am not in bad pain all day. My stomach would be so inflamed when I laid down I could here a thumping, sounds like a second heart beat from it throbbing and that has gone. Unfortuantely though it has done nothingto help my nerves. The stuff I used is really nasty though. Smells like 90% motor oil and 10% rotten eggs and I gag every time I take it with Cranberry juice and that seems to help. It does have some side affects though so I am not sure how long I can continue taking it.

![]() Something in the lyposomal Glutathione is affecting my prostate though. About ten years ago I had chronic prostitis for about a year. Finally went away when taking vitamins with lycopene ( not sure if it was the lycopene or something else in the vitamin). Since starting the Lyposomal Gltuathione i have started to have minor flares which I haven't had for years excpet when taking a decongestant. So if it keeps putting me on the edge of that I will have to back off.

Sometimes when healing or correcting health issues, it makes things worse before better. Not saying that is your case, just that it happens.
I still believe in the iodine protocol even though the niacin stirred up a hornets nest for me, and maybe even the iodine stirred things up. Many cases get worse before better, but you have to be sure that is the case. In my case, continuing the niacin was detrimental for me. That was a great article on it, I take most of it. I wonder how the author would feel about Rlipoic vs just alpha lipoic. |
