There is a lot of information about NT Factor. I use a good brand, a powder. You can read about phospholipid therapy for the membranes of the cells and mitochondria.

"R-Lipoic Acid This is helpful for diabetics. If you get the new R-NaALA (stabilized form, you only need 100mg a day).It may lower your blood sugars, so do your testing to see what effects it has on you."

is R-NaALA a newer version of RLA? I searched but only found R-ALA.

Yes, R-NaALA (stabilized R-lipoic acid) is new.

The abbreviation of R-NaALA is a patented name and should be on the label of the product you choose. So far there are not many out there yet. But most good online suppliers do carry the Doctor's Best one.
