Hello again,
I'm popping back onto these forums again with a question. After about 4 months of tests, I've probably reached the idiopathic club. My nerve symptoms seem to have improved somewhat over the past month since my MRIs on the brain and neck (which came back negative). I had one week with severe leg pain and high anxiety, but I seem to have pushed past that. After that week, I decided to take matters more into my own hand. I started taking B12 5000 MG to raise my levels. I started taking a multivitamin. I started eating gluten free. About five days later, I started experiencing shortness of breath all day, every day. I went to the PCP 5 days later when I started suspecting silent reflux, which I never have had to my knowledge. He started me on 40 MG of Omeprozale. Because I was experiencing sensations of throat closing, I also saw an ENT, who upped my dosage to twice a day. He did see some redness in the throat. I'm trying to figure out why this started happening "all of a sudden." I'm open to high anxiety/stress being part of the equation, though, I've had that much better under control. I'm only on 10 MG of Buspar twice a day and 300 MG of Gaba twice a day. I have Ativan for any severe attacks, but I've been pretty clear for 3 weeks. Could my PN prescribed meds be giving me problems all of a sudden? Anyone else experience this? I know one thing, I don't want to be on these PPPIs that long. |

Some people report heartburn and reflux from gabapentin.
I'd try stopping it for a while and see if that improves. If you have only been taking it newly...you probably won't have to taper off.
