Frown Polyneuropathy and sciatic neuropathy/ozone therapy

Still waiting for a complete report from neurologist. Has anyone here ever had polyneuropathy and a sciatic neuropathy? I suspect quinolone syndrome. Anxious to here from anyone who can relate. In addition, has anyone tried ozone therapy?

I have poly Neuropathy but don't have sciatic neuropathy. Never heard of Ozone therapy.

I am on 75mgs of Lyrica and a compound cream plus take B-Vitamins and alpha lipoic Acid/ All of it works together and makes living with the tread more tolerable. Also take Epson soaks and use Epson Lotion my Morton.

I do my routine as usual with the exception of days the "tread" is really bad then I take it easy.

I am a Diabetic 11 and have to maintain an A1C of 5 that's not easy to do but keep on trying.

For what, specifically, and how (method of administration)? It's one of those things whose actual value has been greatly misinterpreted/overblown/subverted. I don't know what you've heard/been told, but please research the specifics thoroughly and tread carefully.

Summarizing the substantial and growing body of study results showing deleterious health effects of breathing ozone, in 1976, and reiterated in 2006, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reflects the scientific consensus that ozone is a toxic gas which has, as yet, no demonstrated safe medical application in specific, adjunctive, or preventive therapy.

Serious complications reported from the use of this therapy include the development of hepatitis and also include five reported fatalities.

I was recently diagnosed with Sciatica and Idiopathic progressive polyneuropathy. So far shot, medications have not worked. I am not familar with ozone therapy but am looking at options that might help me.

Have you tried anything else that helped even a little.

Do you mean back pain related sciatica? Tell us more about your situation. Ozone therapy was something I came across and looked at because I was told my peroneal branch of the sciatic nerve in my lower leg was injured when I had surgery to repair the tendon probably from the block they gave meto numb the leg. First make sure you have a complete neurological work up. I unfortunately had to go to New York to a specialist in peripheral nerves before I ever was properly evaluated. Chances are your situation is very different. Neuropathy has many causes and after seeing all the testing the New York neurologist did, there is no doubt in my mind that most people never have this. I hope you are able to find the answers you need. Interested in hearing more from you. Good luck.
