Default Went to MS neuro

I went to to MS neurologist and he said no to MS. So after all these tests it looks like I have widespread PN. He said the fishy looking areas on MRI are due to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.

None of the other MDs said diabetes. My A1C was 5.9 which was an improvement form 6.2 last winter.

He did a pin test on my toes and big toe was numb.

Also, he said to take ALA from 800 to 1000 mg per day.

FWIW, 100 mg. RLA is equivalent to ~600 mg. ALA.
so... 150 mg RLS should be equivalent to ~900 mg ALA.

Alpha Lipoic vs. R-Lipoic

In the archives, Search Titles Only for lipoic for more discussions comparing the two.
