Default Spreading to Face / Eyes / Eyelids?

Anyone experience neuropathy issues related to face? I have an expanding neuropathy as documented by multiple NCS completed last 2 years. I believe it expanded into my face and right cheek area last year, and for the last 6 weeks, this seems like it is bothering my eyes now daily. Feels like small twitches in bridge of nose and eyes.

I feel like I'm going to go crazy if I can't get this to stop or at least slow down. In my best Charlie Brown impersonation, "Uuuuugggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh" !

Default yes ... drooling and wetting pants ... embarrassing

Sorry, aging post, but I thought I'd lend support.

Yes, when my chemo induced neuropathy first set in i had tingling in my face cheek bones, eye twitching, numb lips (i would drool), tingling in my chest, even numb loss-of-sensation urethra which would make me slightly wet my pants.

This was two days after my very first chemo infusion of Taxol and Carboplatin. My oncologists had never seen such a strong immediate PN reaction.

It seems there is lots of nerve endings in your "openings" such as lips & urethra.

I still have PN in feet and hands but the rest of the areas went away.

Your taxol/carbo caught my eye....not many of us on this site. My last treatment was March 2013. They did lower my taxol after the 2nd treatment because of minor PN issues. I still have aching in my front teeth and along both jaw lines on occasion. A month after my last chemo I could barely walk....fast forward to Sept of 2013 when I found out via skin punch biopsy that I had no A or C Fibers left in my feet....dx: Severe Small Fiber Neuropathy. My onco dismissed this as being from the chemo and I now have a new onco
The chemo did raise my A1C which didn't help.

It has spread and is now in my hands and upper right arm. I'm now 52 and on disability.....just started going to a Pain Mgmt Doctor/Clinic last Sept and am having 'some' success with pain control but am still in this house 99% of the time.

Sorry to sound down...it's just one of those days

Take care.

I am so happy I read your post confirms my thoughts that the numbness in my cheeks and lips is PN. It does seem to come and go. The last time left for a couple months now back again.

I am now getting it in my scalp (as if someone is pressing their fingers on the op of my head), and then this stinging sensations on the border of my eyelid towards the bridge of my nose. Also my lips and chin have been fasciculating. It is pretty scary.

Hi franklin,
I am getting this for 2 days and it is new for me. I have to keep smoothing my hands over my head and face to get rid of the feeling. It's like I have to get something off of me- like fuzzy pressure. I keep thinking my sunglasses are on top of my head or my ear phones are on and there is nothing. My chin was twitching around around last week, but my other symptoms were so under control that I didn't worry about it. That lasted for 2-3 days and went away.

I'm really sorry that anyone has to go through this. Face and head pain is the worst. It makes you feel crazy. I get burning in my eye, face, scalp etc. It's recently moved into my nasal cavity and it feels like I snorted a line of hot pepper.
