Smile Mrs. D, I value your opinion

Yesterday I posted this in another thread (Foot Care Tricks) but now think I should address it to you personally.

My question:
At night when my feet start burning I soak in cold ocean water (my husband gets gallons of it from the beach). He seems to think it cures everything. It does relieve the burning somewhat.

The past couple of nights I've been awakened with a stabbing pain in my ankle on my left foot. I've had PIN for about 10 years, and it seems to be progressing. I'm not on any medication but I think I will have to look into it if this pain continues.

Mrs. D, do you think the warm water with epsom salts, and using the Morton's lotion would be more beneficial for the pain than just plain cold salt water?
