Smile New Here

Looking for help for my dad, he has IPN for about 10-15 years now, he recently increased his IVG treatment 2x a week, he takes B-12 but I believe it's a very low dose and is also on a Statin and other medications.

I want him to start taking 5000mcg B-12 and ALA 300mg twice a day, to see if it offers him some relief.

ALSO I am 48 and have recently noticed tingling in my feet especially at night so I am concerned I may be headed down the same road. Recently I had a b-12 level that came back at 367, I took b-12 5000mcg sublingually for 3 months and it went up to 867.

I took this blood test WITHOUT fasting so I am concerned it may not be accurate.

I also suffered from unexplainable anemia four years ago and have been noticing that I couldn't get my stamina back up while exercising, that has since approved since supplementing with the b-12.

Sorry that this is all over the place. I really want to accomplish two things, help my dad get some relief from the pain and numbness and prevent this dreadful disease in myself.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
