Daniella, I've just searched on your name for your posts, as I don't know your history offhand, and I wasn't able to easily find a place where you described what happened.
Would you mind summarizing your history and your lab tests again, or pointing to a link that has them. If you've not done this, let me suggest you go to the site I've put up with the charts for all the tests done for pn, www.lizajane.org. You can download the charts to an excel spreadsheet, and then either put in your lab results on computer, or just write them in by hand. The site will allow you to upload them again to share wtih us, or you can copy and paste (though usually formatting of columns is lost when we do this.) In terms of history, tell us your age, when things started for you, your nutritional history as well, because of the anorexia, and maybe it will be easier for us to undestand what it all means. So far, what it seems like is you have the sensorimotor neuropathy that is most common here, sometimes caused by autoimmune illness, sometimes by toxins, or lack of foodstuffs (like B12), and sometimes we never quite find out. The most important thing about the evoked potentials, I believe, is that they DO NOT look like Multiple Sclerosis. That's what they're gnereally done to look for. They show that signals going to the brain are not going smoothly, but according to the report, that's happening in the leg, not the brain. It looks like you might have a right peroneal neuropathy, or absence (itneresting, I have no right peroneal potentials, and I've never known there was anythign specific wrong on the right) Anorexia can lead to hypo-pituitarism, hypothyroidism, and all sorts of nutritional issues. Where are you with that?

Hi and thank you. Ok well it started 4 months ago with what I thought was an overuse injury to the left/inner ankle/foot/calf. I went to the ortho and foot/ankle doc who did bone scans, xrays, mri which only showed inflammation. He then sent me to the neuro who did a diff mri,doppler,2 emg/nc,sep. I have had multiple blood work and went back again yesterday. The only thing showed and I was tested for things like autoamune etc but that I have low white blood which she is concern, high liver enzymes. My b12 was high actually at 1500. She forgot a few tests so I went back yesterday. Anyhow I had anorexia for 12 years and am now 28. I was hospitalised many times and was extremly ill ending up in the cardiac twice. I always bounced back.I went into my last inpatient treatment and have been out for more then a year. I'm the healthiest as I don't use the eating disorder behavior and weight wise. That doesn't take away though the 12 years I lived extrmely underweight/malnurished. Back then though even when I was 40 pound under weight and my hair was falling out I only had high liver enzymes. So now it scares me though healthy that my blood work may not be accurate.I feel so annoyed with myself about my past and why I have stayed strong in my recovery as I see how precious the body is. This week I see the endocronolgist and switch gps. I have talked to some of the past docs I have seen in my eating disorder programs and see currently a nutritionist/therapist that specialise in eating disorder. They all say that regardless when had such a severe past the body heals very slowly and also that deficiencies can show up after that didn't show up in the disease. I feel almost I have 2 dx as I said it was for 3 months in the left leg but now I have bad neck pain, sometimes right leg,and left arm pain/numb. Thank you for all your help.
