I'm sorry for your trouble. We all know it is frustrating. A fast onset is cause for concern and you need to move quickly, IMHO. Think you may have been exposed to any toxins? Is there any history of neurological problems in your family? You may want to visit a specialized facility like Mayo or Cleveland Clinic, or there are others, where they can do more extensive and specialized tests. You may start taking vitamin B-12 as methylcobalamin, 1000-5000 mcg per day.

Healthgirl, your onset sounds similar to my symptoms...I have a very high ANA with a negative ENA. I was diagnosed with Sjogrens and SFN....later with AAN which is now AAG (Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy). Yes, I get horrible spasms, like all the fascia in my body is tied in a knot...coat hanger headaches etc. I was also very athletic when diagnosed. Maybe get an autonomic work up?

Now I'm really intrigued...
For about 5 wks I've been dealing with neuromuscular symptoms in my left arm/hand that sound like TOS symptoms. Except I haven't been working out. Just woke one day with armpit/ deltoid pain and electric zingers in the same hand. This is my arm/hand that has muscle atropy. Last emg in July was normal and the atropy was present then.Saw an ortho who sent me to PT & ran it by my neuro who said we could repeat an emg when he gets back from India in March. Hmmm...

Yep, same symptoms as me. I have so many ortho and musculoskeletal stuff it is unreal. The soft tissue isn't perfused well with AAG....not enough O2, same with the 'coat hanger' headaches.
I think it particularly affects the fascia as well. I used to tell my docs I felt like I was wearing a wet suit that was 3 sizes too small. I also feel like some one beat up, or that I run a marathon a day.
