Do road trips cause issues for anyone?

On a side note as a a paranoid person I try to stop occasionally to get out and move around to avoid blood clots. Don't want a pulmonary embolism!!
In December, we traveled 9 hours in the car. That night in bed - my feet were burning and aching all the way up my leg. Even my arms were joining in the act with aching and poky feelings. Also felt like I had a band around my arm.

I am in the middle of a neurological work-up but have been told that I do have peripheral neuropathy.
