They describe them as braces on the prescription, possibly with AFO's but primarily to keep me from rolling in on my arches, and with a Morton's extension to keep this toe from ulcerating. They will come part way up my leg, past the shoe but not much above the ankle. Sort of an orthotic/brace hybrid?
I haven't gone for the fitting yet, this is all I have been told so far. I drag my right foot more than my left so they will probably be different from each other. The prosthetic people will make the final determination.
