I understand and felt the same way. The third surgery -Just shoot me! Lost hope several times and went through a deep depression but truly feel I am on the other side of it now. I basically refused to give up, though I sure cried a lot for a while. I am still a bit paranoid that things may regress, re-grow, etc. The fibroma could wake up or God forbid I have any kind of injury. I will always need to be careful and watch medications I take in case they are neurotoxic, no alcohol, good diet, etc. I will say Cana that even when you don't have Hope, I and others here still have Hope FOR you...so see you are never really hopeless. ![]() |

It was palpable under the skin of my sole, a small painful nodule. The location and history of injury was kind of a give away, occasional people (with proliferative tendencies, didn't know I had those) react that way. diagnosis was certain with biopsy after first resection. Never would've messed with it but the sucker was in a bad spot and painful! Over one inch and I could've dealt with it.
Meant to say earlier that the nerve problems I developed early on with all the swelling from the rupture included buzzing that eventually spread to my whole left side and fasiculations. I was in major overdrive even before the official nerve injury. The buzzing and fasiculations did calm down over time. ![]() |

WOW...Seriously??
I take the maximum dose of Domperidone every day for gastroparesis, and have for at least 14 years. I also know of at least a dozen other people who also take the max dose daily for the same reason. I (and others i know) have never had any side-effect like that (thankfully), and sorry you have. Did this reaction happen right away or after taking it for a few years?? I will look for any signs of this now that you have brought this to my attention. Do you mind telling how much you were taking? I take 20 mg 4 times a day (so 80 mg total/day). |

What herb did you take?
Domperidone is not approved for use in the US. It however, can be compounded independently by compounding pharmacists. There is one anecdotal paper on a movement disorder in an elderly patient on PubMed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21852591 However, this seems unlikely for the vast majority of patients using it. more information here: http://www.drugs.com/cons/domperidone.html This is a heavy duty drug...taking ANYTHING with it could cause a potential interaction. Herbs especially can be dangerous with RX drugs.

I often wonder if there is something growing or causing inflamation at my needle sites. There is just so much going on in those areas, I think maybe something is impeding healing.
What would test for that? |

![]() I am hopeful though this discourages me. I know what you mean about every week bringing new symptoms. I want to think I am getting better. Some things are definitely better than they were. I literally could not drive for 4 months. I couldn't chop a carrot. It was constant excruciating debilitating pain, dizziness, and cognitive and vision issues. Some things are better but some things are worse. I know for sure I am coping with it better than I was. My pain through out the day is constant and nagging with migrating flares of shooting and stinging. I have to fake my smile most of the time. Sometimes I do feel bits and pieces of my real personality which I couldn't find for almost half a year, so that is definitely good. |
