Janieg, I read the book a long time ago (about the same time as Your Body Knows Best). I have type B blood, and was very interested, in the whole idea. (I don't know if I am a secretor or not).

According to Dr. D'Adamo I shouldn't be eating chicken...only turkey or wild fowl.

I do know that citrus is a trigger for me... so I stopped all citrus with some improvements in my arthritis. (but not 100%). So I have to take Vit C to replace what I don't get from juice and oranges.
Because of my HAE (hereditary angioedema) and malrotation of the GI tract (congenital)I have always had GI disturbances. But the Candida Cleanse I did recently has been very helpful. I can only take CurcuBrain in pulses with rests because everyday for a while will set off my GI thing. But the CurcuBrain is working nicely too even with the rests.

I am interested in the lectins... these peptide markers on food, seem likely culprits in food intolerances. I can eat black beans in moderation (not every day) but I have never been able to tolerate those kidney red beans! Whether it is the lectins or something else going on, I just don't know. I just avoid things that set me off.

I did enjoy that link you put up the other day, about low carb eating... 25grams a day is really difficult to maintain, though.
