Default Wet suit for pool

Hi,
I have SFN everywhere and am now wearing only cotton and silk.
When I wear a swimsuit (one piece made of Lycra and nylon), it is no longer too painful once I get into warm, handicapped pool water.
If I get a wet suit, do you think I can tolerate normal temperature pool?
Any experience with that?
TIA
